Our
Approaches

Humanitarian Logistics

There are many different concepts and approaches to logistics and supply chains. These are influenced by different natures of operation and collaboration practices. In the aid sector, logistics (a more specific concept but with a larger scope) include operational elements of humanitarian responses (transportation, communications, administration, facility management, welfare, security, etc.).

At wenable, we address humanitarian logistics by combining elements of consultative, appreciative and coaching approaches.

MEAL

The commitment to balance and respond to the needs of all stakeholders challenges us to offer more than simply supporting the continual and systematic assessment of the project’s process and to promote and streamline a culture of continuous learning, accountability and transparency within the M&E process. We address the MEAL as 4 interconnected sectors synchronized and interacting with the project cycle management and linked by a red thread through knowledge and data management.

We enhance accountability & learning process through:

  • Organizational learning and adaptive management approaches

  • Capacity building activities

  • Feedback and complaints response mechanisms

  • Collection and sharing of lessons learned and best practices.

Learning & Development

At wenable, we believe the best way to make a significant impact and implement sustainable changes in the life of a crisis-affected population is to develop an aid assistance model that is centralized on the development of people and organizations. To achieve this, we dedicate a significant portion of our business operations to promoting and enhancing the provision of coordinated and easily accessible capacity development initiatives and evolve from a private “fit for purpose” consulting firm into a business lab for the community.

We strive to develop content that proves effective in steering individuals and groups to expand what they know, enhance their problem-solving skills, achieve their goals and find meaningful places within their respective organizations.

Our training content combines elements of adult theoretical learning approaches and best practices accumulated from decades of field experience.

By adopting a learner/client centeredness approach, we guarantee the best learning experience. This is achieved through the incorporation of specific staff and organization needs at the center of our training program. The content is tailored to closely match each participant's expectation, no matter their level.

Community Capacity Development

We believe that the best way to achieve long-term results, make a significant impact and implement sustainable changes in the life of a crisis-affected population is to develop an aid assistance model that supports civil society and fosters sustainable community-driven strategies and programs.

Through the provision of small grants and an e-learning platform, selected local and community-based organizations will benefit from capacity development (training, coaching and mentoring) in the areas of logistics and project cycle management, as well as receive free consultation on organizational structuring and development.

Sustainability

At wenable, we are committed to catering to the needs of struggling communities and engaging in collaborative projects which advance social and environmental agendas. We are convinced that innovation, localization, and community-driven initiatives lead to sustainable development and growth and that societal and environmental engagement is no longer an option but rather an urgent necessity.

We strive to build the best platform to guarantee sustainable solutions while keeping in line with our vision and mission and to offer a consulting service with a strong social impact that integrates elements enhancing community development and leadership.
